| Just a brief update on download options. I talked with some folks from Fort Hood last week, and they commented about the confusing nature of the download page. Some folks already have the software prerequistes installed and only needed to download the iFig Reader setup. No problems here. Other folks needed the full package including the 2 prerequisite components. I initially only provided links to the vendor's website to obtain these components. This is where the confusion set in. These folks from Fort Hood didn't like having to perform 3 separate downloads just to try out the software. As a result, I've had the download page redesigned so that a user can get the prerequisite components in one of 2 ways: 1. Go to the vendor websites and download directly from them (same as before). OR 2. Click the single combined download link which packages both prerequisite components with the iFig Reader setup. Sorry for not giving you all these options initially - but we will always try to respond to your requests as soon as possible. Thanks for the feedback -

| Just a quick note to admit that the bottom line for our users to our initial fix was a bit more confusion. To quote my Fort Hood contact: "I don't want to have to decide which link to click to download and install your software - that's your job". With that sobering rebuke, we decided to completely throw out our original installation software and replace it with a very nice, stable, and widely used product (it was a looong Memorial Day weekend). More importantly, it allows the installation package to examine the components already installed on the user's computer, and automatically download and install ALL components necessary to complete setup. Bottom line for the users: they only need to click a single download link to begin the setup process. Again, thanks for your feedback - we really listen to your comments and try to be responsive to your questions and concerns.
