Evaluating iFig Reader

You can try the iFig technology at no cost or obligation. If you posses a copy of the iFig Reader DVD, all available iFig Sets will be installed automatically as part of the iFig Reader installation. If you did not install iFig Reader from the DVD (in other words, you downloaded the iFig Reader installation package from the MiliTek web site), or if there has been a new iFig Set published since your installation of iFig Reader, you will need to follow the below steps to install the iFig Sets you wish to evaluate.

NOTE: You must be connected to the internet in order to connect to the MiliTek server and download a demo iFig Set.

NOTE: If the iFig Set that you want to evaluate is already installed, you may skip to step 10.

Install the iFig Reader application. You can either download the software by clicking here, or install the software from the DVD obtained from MiliTek.
Start the iFig Reader application. You will be prompted to register and activate your copy of iFig Reader. This is an optional step that can be ignored if you only want to evaluate the software.
Click the iFig Utilities Navigation Tab.

Click the Live Update Activity button located on the Navigation Panel.

Click the "Check for Updates Now" button.

All available demo iFig Sets will be displayed under the "Available iFigs" node.

Expand the iFig Set node and click on the "Demo Change Package Available" node of the iFig Set that you want to install.

Click the "Download and Install" button located on the Navigation Panel.

The demo iFig Set will begin downloading and will install automatically.

Once the iFig Set is downloaded and installed, make sure to follow these remaining steps:

10. Update the catalog using the Catalog Update Utility.

11. Configure you settings.
