Requirements for using the Catalog Update Utility

• You must have concurrent access to FedLog CDs 1, 2 and 3. Access can be achieved in many ways.
  • All 3 CDs can be copied and installed on the same computer as the computer where iFig Reader is installed.
  • The CDs can be accessed from a CD tower connected to the computer where iFig Reader is installed.
  • The CDs can be accessed from a network share that the computer where iFig Reader is installed has access to.
• You must have access to the external API file published with FedLog called FedSrch.dll. This file is normally located on CD number 4.
