Using the Update Utility

If the utility is displaying the "Ready to update Catalog" label, you are ready to run the utility.

At this point, you simply have to click the "Start iFig Catalog Update" button. You should not perform any other actions (like working with a session) while the utility runs.

The system will query FedLog, retrieve its data, and update its internal catalog. The process should only take a few minutes but will depend on the number of catalog records you have loaded in the iFig database which will depend on the number of iFig Sets you have installed. You will see the progress of the update real-time and you can cancel the update early if necessary.
