How iFig Sets are represented in the Current Activity Panel.
A hierarchical tree is displayed in the current activity panel. The tree will
always contain the following 2 nodes:
Installed
iFig Sets. Under this section is a list of all of the iFig Sets that are
currently installed on your computer.
Available iFig Sets. Under this section is a list of all iFig Sets that
are not installed on your computer, but are available from the MiliTek web
server.
In addition to the 2 nodes above, the current activity panel will also
display a node representing each that is installed or available on your computer. Each iFig Set will be
represented with 3 sections of information:
- An icon representing the current status of the iFig Set. There are 6
possible icons that will be displayed depending on the status of the iFig Set.
Idle: this
icon means that your iFig Set is not performing any update activities and that
it is currently up to date as of the date that the utility last checked.
Updating:
this icon means that your iFig Set is not up to date, and that the Live Update
Utility is currently either downloading or installing the latest change
package.
Pause:
this icon means that the Live Update Utility is in the middle of an operation,
but it is waiting on another action to finish before it can continue. You do
not need to take any action when this icon is displayed.
Alert:
this icon means that you must perform some action. For example, if the Live
Update Utility is reporting that a new iFig Set is available and you have
configured the system so that it does not automatically download new iFig Sets
, this icon will be displayed until you decide that you want to install the
new iFig Set and initiate the installation.
Warning
Error: this icon means that an recoverable unexpected error occurred. You
can normally simply retry the last action and the Live Update Utility will
resume where it left off.
Critical
Error: this icon means that a critical error has occurred on your iFig
Set. You should contact MiliTek technical support if you receive one of these
errors.
- The iFig Set number. This is the same number that is shown on the
paper-based technical manual. For example, the main parts manual for the HMMWV
is 9-2320-280-24P.
- Supplementary information related to the current status of the iFig Set.
For example, if your iFig Set is in the middle of a download, you will see the
words "Updating..." as supplementary information.
Change Package nodes: Below each iFig Set is a node representing the
Change Package applied to that iFig Set. Information regarding the download or
installation of the Change Package is depicted in real-time. Once the Change
Package is finished installing, the node is normally hidden.
Display Installed Change Packages. Selecting this check box will make
the Current Activity Panel retrieve and display all installed Change
Packages.
