Updating iFig Reader

iFig Reader comes with a utility that is designed to keep the iFig Reader application up to date with published changes from MiliTek.

NOTE: This utility is designed to keep your version of iFig Reader up to date. It is always available even if you have not registered your copy of iFig Reader. This is not the process you use to update your iFig Sets. To update those, please use the Live Update Utility.

This utility can be accessed from the iFig Reader Help Menu Bar:

Or from the Start/iFig Reader/Check for iFig Reader Updates command on your Windows Start menu:

Either action will start the same program. When the update application first starts, you will be presented with the following screen. Press Next to continue.

The program will attempt to connect to the militek web site. If this fails, it will attempt to connect to the militek FTP site. If it is successful with either of these actions, the utility will prompt you whether a new version is available or not. Simply follow the prompts and the utility will take care of the rest.

If you already have the latest version of iFig Reader, you will be presented with the following dialog box. Click Close to finish the update utility check.
